Description

These 10 Minute Tiramisu Balls are a quick and easy twist on the classic tiramisu! With rich mascarpone, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa powder, these bite-sized treats are perfect for satisfying your tiramisu cravings in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

200g ladyfingers (savoiardi)

½ cup brewed espresso, cooled

250g mascarpone cheese

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Additional cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ladyfingers:
Crush the ladyfingers in a food processor until they form fine crumbs.
  2. Make the Mascarpone Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the Espresso and Coffee Liqueur:
Add the cooled espresso and optional coffee liqueur to the mascarpone mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Combine with Ladyfingers:
Gradually fold in the ladyfinger crumbs until the mixture is homogenous.
  5. Shape the Tiramisu Balls:
Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about the size of a walnut.
  6. Dust and Chill:
Place the balls on a lined tray and dust with cocoa powder. Chill the Tiramisu Balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set, or serve immediately if you prefer a softer texture.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead Tip: These tiramisu balls can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For Extra Flavor: If you don’t have coffee liqueur, you can substitute with a splash of rum or omit it entirely.
  • Texture Preference: Chill them for a firmer texture, or serve right away for a softer, more indulgent treat.
