Description

Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti combines the creamy texture of cream cheese with savory ground beef and a tangy spaghetti sauce, all baked to perfection with a cheesy topping. It’s an easy, comforting meal that’s perfect for family dinners or when you’re craving a hearty pasta dish.

Ingredients

12 ounces spaghetti

1 pound lean ground beef

1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 pinch garlic salt

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti for 12 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly (about 5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat and stir in spaghetti sauce. Let simmer while preparing other ingredients.
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked spaghetti with softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt until evenly coated.
  5. Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Add the cream cheese-coated spaghetti, then top with the remaining meat sauce.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • For a healthier twist, add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms to the meat sauce.
  • Use different cheeses like cheddar or gouda for a different flavor.
  • Add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the sauce for some heat.
  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for leaner protein options.
  • For a vegetarian version, use meatless crumbles or a vegetable-based sauce.
