Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Add egg and cotton candy flavoring (and food coloring, if using) and mix until combined.
- Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fold in sprinkles, if desired.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them out.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
