Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
 - 2 tablespoons butter

Liquids & Seasonings
- 3 cups chicken broth, or more as needed
 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
 - ¼ teaspoon salt

Pasta & Dairy
- ½ pound spaghetti
 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - ¾ cup heavy cream
 - 1 ½ tablespoons dried parsley

Instructions
- Gather Ingredients: Assemble all the ingredients to have them ready before starting the cooking process.
 - Sauté Garlic: Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
 - Melt Butter: Add 2 tablespoons butter to the pan and stir constantly until it is completely melted and combined with the garlic and olive oil.
 - Add Broth and Seasonings: Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth, then add ½ teaspoon ground black pepper and ¼ teaspoon salt. Bring this mixture to a boil.
 - Cook Pasta: Add ½ pound spaghetti to the boiling broth mixture. Cook while stirring occasionally until the spaghetti is tender but still firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Add additional chicken broth if the pasta starts to stick.
 - Finish Sauce: Once pasta is cooked, stir in 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, ¾ cup heavy cream, and 1 ½ tablespoons dried parsley. Mix everything thoroughly until creamy and well combined.
 - Serve: Plate the pasta immediately for best taste and texture. Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley.

Notes
- To make it a seafood version, add cooked prawns or scallops just after the pasta is done and stir gently to warm through.
 - Use low-sodium chicken broth if trying to reduce sodium content.
 - If you prefer a thicker sauce, add a little more Parmesan cheese or reduce the amount of broth.
 - Fresh parsley can be used instead of dried for a more vibrant flavor.
 - Adjust seasoning to taste at the end before serving.
