Description

Crispy Baked Chicken Wings coated in a bold dry rub for a flavorful and healthier alternative to fried wings. These wings are perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with minimal cleanup required.


Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Chopped chives or parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels. Toss them in olive oil to coat evenly.
  3. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and browned.
  6. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Spicy Wings: Add more cayenne or hot sauce before baking for extra spice.
  • Garlic Parmesan: Toss wings in melted butter mixed with garlic and Parmesan cheese for a rich flavor after baking.
  • BBQ Wings: Brush BBQ sauce on wings in the last 5 minutes of baking for a tangy finish.
