Description

Easy homemade pancakes, light, fluffy, and perfect for a quick breakfast or special weekend treat.


Ingredients

1 ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour

2 teaspoons Baking Powder

2 tablespoons White Sugar

⅛ tsp Salt

1 cup Milk

2 tablespoons Butter, melted

1 Egg

¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Scoop about ⅓ cup of pancake batter into the center of the pan. Let cook until the top begins to bubble and the edges turn golden.
  3. Flip the pancake and cook for another minute, or until the bottom is golden brown.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  5. To keep your pancakes warm, place them on a plate and cover with a towel.
  6. Serve warm pancakes with butter, syrup, and fresh fruit. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 5 minutes before cooking.

You can add-ins like chocolate chips, blueberries, or sliced bananas to the batter before cooking.
