Description
Easy homemade pancakes, light, fluffy, and perfect for a quick breakfast or special weekend treat.
Ingredients
1 ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 tablespoons White Sugar
⅛ tsp Salt
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter, melted
1 Egg
¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Scoop about ⅓ cup of pancake batter into the center of the pan. Let cook until the top begins to bubble and the edges turn golden.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another minute, or until the bottom is golden brown.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- To keep your pancakes warm, place them on a plate and cover with a towel.
- Serve warm pancakes with butter, syrup, and fresh fruit. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 5 minutes before cooking.
You can add-ins like chocolate chips, blueberries, or sliced bananas to the batter before cooking.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds or in a toaster for a crispy finish.
