Description
This single-serving edible cookie dough is egg-free, made with heat-treated flour, and ready in just five minutes. Perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth without making a large batch.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon milk or cream
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
1–2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (or more, to taste)
Instructions
- To make the flour safe to eat, place it in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 15-second intervals until it reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it cool to room temperature.
- In a small bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the milk and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- Slowly mix in the cooled, heat-treated flour and a pinch of salt until the dough comes together. Stir until smooth.
- Add in the mini chocolate chips and mix until they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Scoop up your cookie dough with a spoon and enjoy right away, or serve it with graham crackers or fruit slices for dipping.
Notes
- Adjust ingredients to personal taste or add extra toppings like sprinkles or chopped nuts.
- For a double chocolate version, add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to the dough.
- For a fun twist, stir in 1 tablespoon of peanut butter or add colorful sprinkles for a funfetti version.
