Description

This single-serving edible cookie dough is egg-free, made with heat-treated flour, and ready in just five minutes. Perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth without making a large batch.


Ingredients

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon milk or cream

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

12 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (or more, to taste)


Instructions

  1. To make the flour safe to eat, place it in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 15-second intervals until it reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a small bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the milk and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
  3. Slowly mix in the cooled, heat-treated flour and a pinch of salt until the dough comes together. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add in the mini chocolate chips and mix until they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Scoop up your cookie dough with a spoon and enjoy right away, or serve it with graham crackers or fruit slices for dipping.
