Description

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are bite-sized treats filled with juicy ground beef, melted cheddar, and seasoned Parmesan dough, making them perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package biscuit or pizza dough

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the minced garlic. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let the beef cool slightly.
  3. Once the beef has cooled, mix it with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Roll out the biscuit or pizza dough and cut it into 3-inch squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture onto each dough square. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming a smooth ball.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with the minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each dough ball.
  7. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the top of each bomb, and add chopped parsley if desired.
  8. Arrange the dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve the garlic Parmesan cheeseburger bombs warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • You can use mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or a combination of cheeses for different flavor profiles.
  • For a vegetarian version, replace ground beef with plant-based ground meat or sautéed mushrooms and onions.
  • Freeze the assembled bombs before baking for a make-ahead option, and bake from frozen at 375°F for 18-20 minutes.
  • For added flavor, you can incorporate caramelized onions, or pickles inside the bombs.
  • To make it spicy, add chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture.
