Description
Grill Master Chicken Wings are marinated in soy sauce and Italian dressing, then grilled to perfection and tossed in a spicy butter sauce, offering the perfect balance of heat and flavor.
Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings, cut apart at joints, wing tips discarded
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup Italian-style salad dressing
¼ cup butter
¼ cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot), or to taste
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the chicken wings, soy sauce, and Italian-style dressing. Seal the bag, squeeze out excess air, and marinate the wings in the refrigerator for 4 hours to overnight.
- Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the hot pepper sauce and soy sauce until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Grill the wings on the preheated grill, turning occasionally, for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
- Transfer the grilled wings to a large bowl. Pour the spicy butter sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For a sweeter sauce, you can add honey or brown sugar to the spicy sauce.
- If you prefer a milder sauce, you can use barbecue sauce or a tangy teriyaki glaze instead of the hot sauce.
- To make the wings extra crispy, you can finish them in the oven for 5-10 minutes after grilling on high heat.
