Ingredients

For the Shrimp: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste), Salt and pepper to taste, 12 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce: 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Thread shrimp onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque, and slightly charred.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Serve the grilled shrimp skewers with the garlic butter sauce on the side or drizzled on top. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Herb-Infused Sauce: Add thyme, rosemary, or parsley to the garlic butter sauce for extra flavor.
  • Grilled Vegetables: Serve the shrimp with grilled vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or asparagus for a well-rounded meal.
  • Storage: Leftover shrimp and sauce can be stored for up to 2 days in the fridge.
  • Reheating: Reheat shrimp in a skillet or microwave, reheating the garlic butter sauce separately.
