Ingredients
4 large Honeycrisp apples, cubed
1 lemon, juiced
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
½ cup chopped pecans
½ cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Wash and core the Honeycrisp apples, then cut them into bite-sized cubes. Place the apple cubes in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning and enhance flavor.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and brown sugar until well combined. Adjust sweetness by adding more brown sugar if desired.
- Add the sliced celery, halved grapes, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries to the apple cubes. Pour the dressing over the mixture and stir gently to coat evenly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, stir the salad again and garnish with additional pecans or cranberries if desired. Serve chilled for the best flavor.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
