Description

A creamy and cheesy Spinach Chicken Casserole filled with tender chicken, vibrant spinach, and a crispy breadcrumb topping. A comforting, flavorful dish that’s sure to be a family favorite.


Ingredients

2 cups (300g) cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups (60g) fresh spinach, chopped

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella

½ cup (120g) sour cream

½ cup (120ml) chicken broth

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup (50g) breadcrumbs (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13″ baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  6. Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
