Description

Strawberry Mousse is a light, fluffy, and creamy dessert made with just a few simple ingredients. This easy recipe blends fresh strawberries with cream cheese or coconut cream to create a refreshing, sweet treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese or coconut cream

4 oz yogurt or additional cream cheese or coconut cream

1 cup powdered sugar or sugar-free alternative

5 medium-sized strawberries

Optional: ¼ tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature. For coconut cream, open the can and ensure it’s thick and creamy.
  2. Remove the stems from the strawberries and blend or mash them until fully pureed.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the strawberries and blend until smooth using a food processor, hand mixer, or blender.
  4. Transfer the mousse to serving dishes or cups.
  5. Refrigerate the mousse to thicken, and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and a plant-based yogurt or substitute the cream cheese with another dairy-free option.
  • Adjust the powdered sugar or use sugar alternatives like monk fruit or stevia to suit your taste.
  • Add a pinch of lemon zest or vanilla extract for a flavor twist.
