Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon slices (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to make a spice rub.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Coat each fillet generously with the spice rub.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the fillets.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes after baking.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon slices.
